Embroidered Hats, Jackets, and Shirts

Embroidery is a popular customization service for hats, jackets, coats, shirts, polos, and bags. It’s most effective in the application of smaller logos and designs between 2 and 4 inches. Embroidery can run a bit higher in price because it’s priced according to the number of stitches and the quantity of items being ordered, but nothing can beat its aesthetic. Embroidery has been around for many hundreds of years and was always done by hand, so it was extremely labor intensive. Today, it’s still done by hand by individuals but the process has become more automated in the commercial embroidery industry. We use state-of-the-art embroidery machines that can complete a job in a fraction of the time it would take to do by hand. At Inked Wear, we’ve mastered the art of automated embroidery. We use the most sophisticated and advacned machines in the business. It’s important to us that your embroidery is done as beautifully as possible. That means no fraying thread, breakage, or other damage caused during the process. Using old, out-of-date machines wouldn’t allow us to maximize the quality of the embroidery, so we only use the newest technology available to us. We also use the highest quality thread because the last thing we want is for the stitches to fray, break, and come undone. We understand the importance of good embroidery and we’re here to make sure that all of your embroidered products are done perfectly. At Inked Wear, your embroidery and everything surrounding it is being done by the most skilled individuals. Our design and production teams are extremely talented and have years of experience working with these machines and materials. This lessens the chance of human error in the embroidery process, which means that between the machines and team members, there is very little chance that any mistakes will be made in the creation of your products.
Embroidery isn’t a complicated process, but there are various important steps that need to be taken. Before we can do anything, we need the design or logo that will be embroidered. In many cases, the customer doesn’t have a design to give us or hasn’t been able to create one. This won’t stop us, though! We have a graphic designer in or design department that can assist our customers in creating the design they want to see embroidered on their products. We’ll get your exact specifications to ensure that the design is what you had in mind. No matter how long it takes, we will make sure that you are satisfied with the design before we use it. Once we’ve gotten customer approval, we’ll digitize the design using a special vector program. Using this program allows us to create a file of the image that won’t pixelate however much you zoom in on it. If we’ve created a design for you, you’ll get a copy of it in the file type of your choosing so that you can use it again in the future. When we’re ready to begin embroidering, we’ll transfer the file to the embroidery machine. Then, we’ll “teach” our machine the specific design elements before stitching begins. It’s important that the machine knows which needles, threads, and orientation to use so that it can properly stitch the design. If the design requires the use of multiple colors, multiple needles will be involved. Only one needle with one color thread can stitch at one time, so a stitching sequence must also be established before starting. We’ll then stretch the fabric across the machine and over the frames as tightly as possible and secured in place. It’s important that the fabric be as secure as possible because the frames will move the fabric around the needle, not the other way around. We wouldn’t want the item to fall off in the middle of embroidery because it may get damaged and we’d have to start the process all over again. Once machine has been programmed and the product lined up properly on the frames, the machine can begin stitching until the design is finished. When the stitching has ceased, our team will remove the product from the machine to inspect it an ensure that it has been stitched properly and no damage has been done to it. If the order consisted of one item, the process is finished and the product is ready for use by the customer. In the more probable event that there were multiple items in the order, our team will replace the item with another until the order is fulfilled.
